This Privacy Policy explains how InvoiceWand ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use invoicewand.com and our invoice tools (the "Service").

Information We Collect

  • Invoices you create with the free tool are generated in your browser. We do not receive or store their contents unless you choose to save them to an account.
  • Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details (via our authentication provider).
  • Saved invoices. If you save invoices, we store the invoice data you enter so you can reopen and edit it.
  • AI input. When you use AI-assisted invoicing, the text you submit is sent to a third-party AI provider to generate structured invoice fields. Do not include information you do not want processed by that provider.
  • Usage data. We may collect basic analytics such as pages visited and device/browser type to improve the Service.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate you, save and retrieve your invoices, process subscription payments, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing With Service Providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, including hosting/infrastructure, our authentication provider, our payment processor (for subscription billing only), and AI providers (for AI-assisted features). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

Payments

We do not process the payments your clients make to you. Any bank, card, or payment details you place on an invoice are part of your document content and are handled between you and your client. Subscription fees you pay us are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account and saved-invoice data until you delete it or close your account. You can delete saved invoices at any time, and you can request account deletion from your account settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

The Service is operated from and processed on infrastructure that may be located in the United States and other regions. By using the Service you consent to this processing.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
